Please Pray for the Bruce R. Anderson Family.

DILLSBURG -- Bruce R. Anderson, 76, of Dillsburg, passed away on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born Aug. 28, 1933, in York County, a son of the late Robert B. and Vallie M. (Tusing) Anderson. He was married for 54 years to the former Mamie C. Krysher, who preceded him in death in 2005.

Bruce was employed by Ralston Purina Feed Mill, Shiremanstown.

He was a member of Beavertown God's Missionary Church.

Bruce is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul R. and Tina Anderson, of Middleburg, David A. and Karen Anderson and Daniel L. and Jewel Anderson, all of Dillsburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Naomi A. and Douglas Evans, of Winslow, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Preston Anderson, of Dover, Pa.; and four sisters, Edith A. Halderman, of Clay City, Ky., and Evelyn Siple, Althea Groce and Naomi Hughes, all of Dover.

He was preceded in death by one grandson, Paul Anderson Jr., and one brother, Cecil Anderson.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Beavertown God's Missionary Church, Covered Bridge and Creek roads, Beavertown, and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at Parkville Bible Church, Etters, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor James Plank and Pastor Donald Winters officiating.

Burial will be in Parkville Bible Church Cemetery, Newberry Township, York County.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
